Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP)

The Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over and seeks to connect seniors to volunteer service opportunities by highlighting their lifetime of experiences. Using their time and talents, our volunteers give back to our community and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Our mission is to engage Americans 55 years and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs and to provide a high-quality experience for the volunteers.

Flexible Service Opportunities for Seniors

RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. Volunteers receive pre-service orientation training from the organization where they will serve and supplemental insurance while on duty. RSVP volunteers do not receive monetary incentives, but sponsoring organizations may reimburse them for some costs incurred during service.

The Wide Reach of RSVP

RSVP volunteers provide a wide range of services, including tutoring and homework assistance, meal preparation and delivery, transportation services, light cleaning and organizing, clerical and office support, food pantry and clothing assistance, and so much more.
