Children’s Advantage Purchases A New Facility

Children’s Advantage is proud to announce the purchase and opening of a newly renovated facility. This expansion is a direct result of our continued commitment to our mission and will help us provide new, innovative evidence-based programs to meet the needs of our community.

The property doubles our office space, provides beautiful new offices for our families to receive their services, large group spaces that will expand services, and 3.5 acres of land for outdoor recreation.

This exciting acquisition will allow Children’s Advantage to house counseling, case management, and group services in one building for true team collaboration and care coordination. “Ensuring the mental health needs of the children in Portage County are met is a priority of the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County. This new building will house comprehensive youth and adolescent mental health services that will facilitate and enhance the continuum of care within the community,” stated John Garrity, PhD, executive director of the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County.

We thank our Board of Directors, the MHRS Board, ODMHAS, and our Management Team for working diligently to make this dream a reality.
