Help Us Serve All Who Have Served
Axess Family Services supports veterans experiencing homelessness all over Ohio every year, helping them access the safe shelter and resources they need to rebuild their lives. The need for stable, long-term housing continues to grow, especially as more veterans face barriers such as rising housing costs, health challenges, and limited access to permanent housing options. Through developments like the Thompson Family Veterans Village in Summit County, we can provide private, dignified homes that offer veterans the stability, independence, and support they need to thrive.
Project Overview
The Thompson Family Veterans Village is creating a new permanent supportive housing community in Summit County for veterans. This development will include ten single-family homes, each with a full kitchen, living and dining area, private laundry, and a full bathroom, ensuring comfort and a true sense of home that our veterans deserve.
Thanks to the support of generous partners, including the Thompson Family Foundation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and local community organizations, this project is becoming a reality. But we need your help to bring this vision fully to life and ensure long-term success for the veterans we serve.
Timeline
Construction is set to begin in the summer of 2026.
