AxessPointe Community Health Centers and Children’s Advantage to Host Open House for Renovated Ravenna Facility
AxessPointe Community Health Centers and Children’s Advantage, both programs of Axess Family Services, will host a community open house on Friday, June 5th at their newly renovated shared location, 771 N. Freedom Street in Ravenna.
Community members, partners, and families are invited to stop by, tour the space, meet care teams, and learn more about the expanded healthcare and behavioral health services now available in one convenient, integrated setting.
What's New?
The site, which has been home to Children’s Advantage for several years, has been transformed into a more modern, welcoming, and connected space for care, now including a dedicated space for AxessPointe’s primary care services. With both programs operating side by side, the site better supports children, adults, and families across the community through more coordinated and accessible care.
In addition to the behavioral health services provided by Children’s Advantage, patients at this location will now have access to a broader range of healthcare services through AxessPointe, including primary and pediatric care, dental services, and an on-site, in-house pharmacy that is open to all ages.
Why Add a Health Center?
“This facility is all about making care easier to access,” said Mark Frisone, Executive Director of Axess Family Services. “When services are in one place, families can get what they need without extra barriers or extra steps and focus on what matters most: their health.”
The project was made possible through funding from the State of Ohio and the Portage County CDBG Community Development Allocation Program, reflecting a shared commitment to improving access to high-quality, community-based care in Ravenna and throughout Portage County.
