Next Step
Next Step is a community-based program that focuses on empowering victimized youth on their path to self-sufficiency. Our case managers will assist youth in securing housing, employment, education, transportation, and health care. We work with clients to create a developed case plan situated around their individual needs.

Ohio Early Intervention
Early Intervention (EI) works with families with children from birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities so that they have the best possible start in life.
EI professionals work with you and your child to identify strengths and needs and address concerns as early as possible with services right where you live, play, and spend your day. There is no “downside” to referring a child for Early Intervention services. Screening and eligibility determination are free.

Place of Peace
Place of Peace provides a safe environment to conduct supervised visitations and safe exchanges for families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, or conflict during exchanges.
We serve families that are in need of supervised visits or exchanges. Referrals may be made from many places, such as Domestic Relations Court, Juvenile Court, Child Protective Services, or attorneys. Self-referred cases are also considered.

Our mission is to provide socialization opportunities for all Portage County senior citizens without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, handicap, or ancestry.

Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP)
The Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over and seeks to connect seniors to volunteer service opportunities by highlighting their lifetime of experiences. Using their time and talents, our volunteers give back to our community and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Our mission is to reduce domestic violence in Portage County as a link to shelter, support, legal advocacy and referrals.

SCOPE Senior Services
Senior Citizens Opportunity for Personal Endeavor (SCOPE) assists people ages 50 and over in maintaining their independence and being part of the community. We provide senior adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs.
Our mission is to inspire, strengthen, and enrich adult lives in Trumbull and Portage County.

Senior Action Support Group
Senior Support Action Group (SSAG) is designed to bring health and wellness to seniors in their own homes. Being homebound can be an isolating experience, and we are hoping to alleviate senior loneliness and challenges presented by being homebound. This program aims to bring both physical and mental wellness to each homebound senior we serve.

Senior Companion Program
The Senior Companion Program (SCP) recruits individuals 55 and older to volunteer as friends and companions to older adults living independently at home and at community centers. Their support enables older adults to live independently at home for longer periods of time. They also provide respite for caregivers of older adults.
