At AxessPointe, we believe that behavioral health is an important factor in the overall health and wellness of our patients. We have an integrated approach to care and use targeted screening tools during a patient’s medical visit to see if any behavioral issues are present. By offering this affordable behavioral care within our clinics, we can treat the whole person and improve our patient outcomes.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) uses prescription medications, in conjunction with counseling, to treat substance abuse disorders. AxessPointe utilizes Vivitrol, which prevents a relapse to opioids once a person has completed detox.

Patients receive medication and counseling services within the same building. The medication is prescribed by AxessPointe and the counseling services are provided by Family & Community Services, Inc. Both the medication and the counseling are required pieces for MAT to be successful.

MAT is a big part of recovery but staying sober depends on more than just medications. Showing our clients we have faith in them allows them to see in the midst of difficulty, there is an opportunity for them to live their best lives.
