Take Care of Your Teeth!
Healthy oral hygiene habits help prevent conditions like cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay, but it also significantly affects your overall health. According to the Academy of General Dentistry, gum disease is directly related to critical health issues, such as stroke and heart disease. Be sure to pay attention to the condition of your oral health over time; symptoms like mouth ulcers, dry mouth, and swollen gum can be signs of larger problems. When in doubt, keep a consistent oral hygiene routine and be sure to inform your dentist of any issues during your visits.
