Axess Family Services Earns COA Accreditation

We are proud to announce that Axess Family Services has achieved national accreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA), a service of Social Current. This milestone affirms our unwavering commitment to high-quality, person-centered care for individuals and families across Northeast Ohio.

COA accreditation is widely recognized as a rigorous and comprehensive process that evaluates all aspects of an organization’s operations, programs, and services. This designation signifies that Axess Family Services meets or exceeds best practice standards and has the structure, policies, and procedures in place to deliver consistently excellent services.

This accreditation comes on the heels of the successful merger between Family & Community Services and AxessPointe Community Health Centers-uniting to form Axess Family Services, a single, comprehensive agency delivering integrated health and human services to the region’s most vulnerable populations.

As part of its accreditation process, COA reviewers assessed Axess Family Services’ adherence to ethical standards, staff training and supervision, client safety, service delivery, risk prevention, and performance improvement. Accreditation strengthens our position for new funding, contracts, and partnerships-ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.
