Delivering Care Kits During COVID-19

Children’s Advantage’s Early Mental Health Consultation program offers consultation to early education and child care centers. They provide guidance and support to promote healthy socio-emotional development to prevent challenging behavior. 

During COVID-19, they lead a mission to provide care kits to each childcare center to assist them with re-opening safely and supporting the children’s mental health. 

The care kits included cleaning supplies, laminated books on wearing a mask and information on feelings, and individually packaged art supplies and toys for each child.

To ensure the health and safety of children, staff, and families, each item selected was easy-to-wash and individually divided.
