United Way Day of Caring 2021

Last Friday, we had a wonderful group of about 30 volunteers from Kent State, Willoughby Supply and other individual community leaders work at the Family Center to build a raised vegetable garden, landscape and plant flowers. 

This group worked hard, in the heat to complete a large project; we were the largest project in Portage County and featured in the Record Courier on Saturday. We are so grateful for all their hard work and support! 

The raised garden beds will be used to help families work together and learn new skills as well as benefit from the fruitful harvest. 

We are so appreciative of the support of our volunteers and United Way of Portage County.
